POCKET SYMPHONIES ELECTRONICA
Festival for Electronic Music and Contemporary Arts
The German National Theatre in Weimar starts an artistic collaboration between dramatic theatre, music theatre and the Staatskapelle Weimar. It is laying the foundation for a five-year cycle featuring major events in German history which have a connection to the history of Weimar.
German poet Christian Lehnert wrote the Libretto and Sven composed for soloists, choir and orchestra.
200 international key players in the wider field of classical music come together to discuss and experience the future of classical music.
Amongst them are representatives of the most important European concert halls and directors of the leading orchestras.
Carlos Ruta, president of the National University San Martin UNSAM in Buenos Aires, awarded Sven with the title "Maestro Honorario de la Universidad Nacional de San Martin".
This is the text on the document:
A stunning production accompanied the sold out POCKET SYMPHONIES concert in Buenos Aires. The first Yellow Lounge in Latin America took place at the "Center for Experimental Arts" of the University San Martin (UNSAM).
The film director Lara Arellano, working for Pank Films, created some mesmerizing video installations.
Sven´s solo performance with POCKET SYMPHONIES ELECTRONICA had its premiere this week in Paris as a part of the Yellow Lounge concerts at Le Batofar.
It features the Pocket Symphonies, live remixed and extended with vibraphone lines, subtle electronics and beats.
